Q0776. Opener under the influence?

Unknown

If my twin is under the influence, he will let his heart speak. Normally he is quite aloof with me, especially when there are other people with him, he keeps his distance, both physically and in his words. But recently he was here and had been drinking a few glasses of wine and a few beers, I noticed that he became easier at that time expressing his feelings. We had a lively discussion (were with several people) about the ratio versus intuition and feeling. At the end of the evening he even made a very remarkable statement that I will never forget. He said to me “we will do that together in the next life”. I was really perplexed because he normally never says such things, he is pretty rational. Who recognizes that someone, for example through alcohol or something else, shows more of what is going on inside? And would there come a time when he no longer needed that to be so honest and free?

Answer 1
Alcohol makes boundaries more blurred and more disappear. Not so strange that he has less trouble showing his feelings. I certainly think that what he says in that condition is true and really comes from him. In a sober state, however, the ego stops him from being so candid. (Unknown)

Thank you for the response, after so much time. Yes, I think you are right that it really comes from him. I think it’s such a shame that he normally doesn’t dare to be so outspoken. I love that man with all my heart and I feel that he likes me too. But there are so many circumstances that keep us apart. (Unknown)
